Whoa

That was quite something. No traffic moved. Thousands of people in complete silence. No matter what your opinions on last week or on how to show respect it was memorable, for those who took part anyway.

My company sucked. We did the bear minimum: 2 minutes silence. They didnt tell us people would be standing outside their office buildings as a mark of respect. That would've been amazing to participate in.

Seems to have been the norm. I can see both sides of the argument as I'm not one for symbolic demonstrations but it would bother me if people didn't think about it at all.

My company didn't even acknowledge it. I must admit I got caught up in my training that even I forgot the time. I feel kinda bad but I have had some silent thoughts since it all happened.

At least you've thought about it so that's the important thing :)

I don't think the bombers will turn around and say "Hey, there's no beating this London crowd. We might as well stop now", but for those affected I think they can take some comfort from it.
